: Active forkhead members act as tumor suppressors by promoting cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Increased expression of any FoxO member results in the activation of the cell cycle inhibitor p27Kip1. Forkhead transcription factors also play a part in TGF-β-mediated upregulation of p21CIP1, a process negatively regulated through PI3K (1).
: Store at 4°C (add 0.1% NaN3
) for several months, and at -20°C for longer periods.
For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For optimal performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
: PBS pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol
: Affinity chromatography
: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 317-321of human FOXO1
: Western blot of human and mouse FOXO1
FOXO1 from other species may also be detectable
: Recognizes the FOXO1 protein
||Sample Data : Representative western blot with Anti-FOXO1 (1:1000) using 3 μg, 10 μg, and 30 μg of 3T6 cell lysate.
The Anti-FOXO1 product can be utilized in the following research areas, but not limited to:
Apoptosis/Autophagy, Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Neurobiology
