Stability: Store at 4°C (add 0.1% NaN₃) for several months, and at -20°C for longer periods. For optimal storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For optimal performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Scientific Background: The HA epitope tag (YPYDVPDYA) consists of 9 amino acid residues and comes from the Human influenza virus hemagglutinin [1]. Hemagglutinin is a viral cell surface glycoprotein responsible for the binding of viral particles to their target cell, and is named because of its ability to agglutinate erythrocytes in vitro [2].
