Formulation: Recombinant protein stored in 1 X PBS, 10% glycerol.
Storage, Stability, and Shipping: Stored at desiccated below -20
oC. It is stable at 4
oC between 2-7 days. For long term storage, aliquot target into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Applications: Cell Assay
Endotoxin Level: Less than 0.1 ng/µg (IEU/µg) of IP-10.
Molecular Weight: ~13.2 kDa
Gene Aliases: C7; IFI10; INP10; crg-2; mob-1; SCYB10; gIP-10; CXCL10
Scientific Background: IP10 or interferon gamma inducible protein 10 is a member of the CXC chemokine family that plays a role in pleiotropic effects, including stimulation of monocytes, natural killer and T-cell migration, and modulation of adhesion molecule expression. IP10 participate in the regulation of angiogenesis during inflammation and tumorigenesis (1). IP10 plays a role in the generation and delivery of an effector T-cell response (2).
