Overview:
Inhibits cellular necroptosis a non-apoptotic cell death pathway which leads to necrosis (EC50 = 494 nM) (1). Inhibits receptor-interacting protein kinase 1 (RIPK1) (EC50 = 182 nM) the key upstream kinase in the necroptosis activation pathway (2,3). Reduces ischemic brain injury in a mouse model of stroke1 and inhibits myocardial death (4).
