Overview:
Essentially a chemo-attractant, CCL7 signals through CCR receptors 1, 2 and 3. CCL7 can attract and activate monocytes, natural killer cells, T cells, and immature dendritic cells. CCL7 has also been shown to attract esosinophiles and induce histamine secretion from basophils.
Gene Aliases:
MCP3, Monocyte chemoattractant protein 3, C-C motif chemokine 7, Small-inducible cytokine A7, NC28 Recombinant Human Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-3 (CCL7)
Genbank Number:
Storage, Stability and Shipping:
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -70oC. Upon reconstitution, this cytokine can be stored in working aliquots at 2o - 8oC for one month, or at -20oC for six months, with a carrier protein without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Endotoxin Level:
<1.0 EU/μg of recombinant protein as determined by the LAL method.
Molecular Weight:
9.2 kDa
Reconstitution Protocol:
Reconstitute at 100 μg/mL in sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% human or bovine serum albumin
Sample Cell Assay Data:
Purity:
Recombinant Human MCP-3 (CCL7) resolved on a 17% SDS_PAGE gel under reducing conditions and stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250
