Overview:
Potent and selective p38 MAP kinase inhibitor acting at the ATP site (1). Selectively inhibits the p38alpha and beta isoforms (IC50= 50 and 100 nM for SAPK2a/p38 and SAPK2b/p38beta2 respectively) (2). Effectively blocks LPS-induced gene expression in monocytes (3). Induces apoptosis (4). Cell permeable.
