Overview:
PX Domain Containing Serine/Threonine Kinase (PXK) is involved in synaptic transmission through modulating brain Na,K-ATPase subunits ATP1B1 and ATP1B3 participate in the ligand-induced internalization and degradation of epidermal growth factors. Mutation of this gene may be associated with susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
