Overview:
MNK1 (MAP kinase-interacting kinase 2) is a MAP kinase interacting serine/threonine kinase 1 that isolated by a novel expression screening method for identifying the protein kinase substrates (1). Mnk1 expressed in all tissues with the highest level of expression in skeletal muscle (2).
