Overview:
U-0126 is a novel, potent and selective MEK inhibitor (MEK1; IC50=72 nM, MEK2; IC50=58 nM) (1,2). Blocks the production of inflammatory cytokines and prostaglandin E2 in LPS-stimulated monocytes (3) and displays anti-inflammatory activity (4). An extremely useful tool for exploring pathways dependent on MEK activity.
